JAC S4 - front-wheel drive crossover. Launched into serial production at the end of 2018. It debuted on the Ukrainian market at the end of September 2020.

The length of the novelty from JAC S4 reaches 4410 mm, body width - 1800 mm, wheelbase - 2620 mm, and ground clearance, according to the manufacturer, is 200 mm. In the exterior design of the car, borrowings from European and American automakers can be traced, which, nevertheless, together give the five-door a distinctive look. 

A characteristic element of the interior design of the JAC S4 is an asymmetrical front panel with an 8-inch multimedia system display, which replaces almost all the physical control buttons for the main functions. To the right of the multifunctional steering wheel is the Start-Stop button for the keyless engine start system. Of the comfortable options, the new JAC crossover has an electric sunroof and an electric tailgate with a Hands-free system, which is activated by a characteristic movement of the foot under the bumper.

The new Chinese crossover received additional protection systems for the driver and passengers. In addition to the main security systems, the SUV has 6 airbags, a Bosch version 9.3 stability control system, a blind spot monitoring system, an LDW lane control system that warns the driver about the car leaving the lane and a panoramic view in 360 ° mode.

The S4 crossover is equipped with a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine with the HFC4GB2.4D index - its power is 150 hp and the maximum torque is 210 Nm. The petrol power unit is combined with a CVT or a 6-speed manual transmission. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h according to the "passport" is 9.8 seconds. In China, the car is also sold with a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated HFC4GB3.3D engine that develops 120 hp. and 150 Nm.
